About ShowStep
Record once. Ship the video and the doc.
Why it exists
Most know-how inside a team gets passed on by showing: someone shares their screen, clicks through the steps and explains as they go. It works for the person watching. Then it is gone — or it survives as a video nobody can skim, search or paste into the wiki, and the same question gets answered again next month.
Writing a proper procedure fixes that, but it takes far longer than doing the task, so it rarely happens.
What it does
ShowStep lets you record a walkthrough once and get two things back: a video page you can share, and a numbered, illustrated procedure built from the same recording — each step with its screenshot and the words you said. You can export it as a single web page or a PDF.
Where we are
ShowStep is in early access and free to try. We are still shaping it with the people who use it, and we would rather tell you what it cannot do yet than pretend otherwise.
Who we are
ShowStep is built by HIKO Software, a software company based in Taiwan. Questions, feedback or a procedure that came out wrong — we read everything sent to support@showstep.ai.
